Arialle helps users convert books and documents into audiobooks by uploading files (such as PDFs), reviewing/editing extracted narration text, and generating audio narration using text-to-speech (TTS) and optional voice profiles. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

2. Information We Collect

A. Account Information

Email address and basic account/profile information (e.g., display name).

B. Content You Upload or Create

Files you upload (e.g., PDFs), extracted text, edited narration text, chapter selections, and project/book metadata (title, description, author name you provide). Generated audio files and associated metadata (e.g., duration, timestamps, status).

C. Voice Data (If You Use Voice Features)

Voice recordings you upload or record to create or manage a voice profile. Voice profile identifiers and settings (e.g., stability, similarity, style).

D. Usage & Technical Data

App usage events (feature usage, pages visited), error logs, timestamps, and device/network information needed for reliability, security, and troubleshooting.

E. Purchases & Credits

If you buy subscriptions, print products, or credits, we receive purchase and transaction information from the payment processor or app store used for that transaction. We do not store full card numbers. Payments are handled by the applicable app store or our payment processor(s).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

• Provide core functionality (upload, extraction, text review, audio generation, playback, project management).
• Operate and improve the service (performance, reliability, bug fixes).
• Provide customer support and respond to requests.
• Enforce usage limits, credit usage, and prevent abuse/fraud.
• Communicate important notices (service updates, security, account notices).

4. Text-to-Speech Processing & Third Parties

To generate audio, the approved narration text and the selected voice settings/profile may be sent to third-party TTS providers (for example, ElevenLabs or similar). We share only what's necessary to provide generation and playback. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy practices.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

• Service providers (hosting, storage, analytics, error monitoring, email delivery, TTS providers) to operate Arialle.
• Legal/safety authorities or parties when required by law or to protect users, the service, or our rights.
• Business transfers if JVN Studio LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with appropriate safeguards).

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data Retention

We retain data as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Projects, uploaded files, extracted/edited text, and generated audio may be stored so you can access them later. Logs are retained for a limited time for security and debugging.

7. Your Choices & Controls

A. Review Before Generation

You control what gets narrated by editing narration text before generating audio. If you leave content (covers, tables of contents, page numbers), it may be narrated.

B. Delete Account

You can delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or by emailing info@arialle.com. Deletion removes or anonymizes personal data and associated content where feasible, subject to legal requirements.

C. Access & Correction

You can update certain profile information within the app. You may contact info@arialle.com to request access or corrections where applicable.

8. Copyright & Permissions

You must own or have permission to upload and convert any content. Do not upload copyrighted content without authorization. We may suspend accounts or remove content for violations.

9. Children's Privacy

Arialle is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11. International Users

If you use Arialle outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy and will revise the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice in-app.
